Who is Dr. Ufuk Aydin?

I started my education at Kırşehir Kaman Yenihayat Primary School, primary school at Istanbul Fikirtepe Hasan Şadoğlu Primary School, and completed my secondary education at Istanbul Kartal Burak Bora Primary School. After completing Anatolian High School, I started medical education and training at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. I am grateful to my teachers who strived for our education throughout my primary, secondary and high school years. I believe that meeting good teachers is a very important chance for a child and that I am one of the lucky children. I got an extremely good grade in the Medical Specialization Exam that I took after medical school. This result gave me great freedom in my choices. Since I love Bursa and love this city, I chose Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and Department of Hand Surgery for my specialty training. During this period, I worked for a long time not only in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, but also in Hand Surgery and Burns. I would like to thank my teachers for their efforts during their very busy work schedule.

During the compulsory service period, I worked as a specialist doctor at Edirne State Hospital and was elected Doctor of the Year in Edirne in 2012. This is perhaps one of the proudest moments for a doctor.

After my compulsory service, I returned to Bursa. Currently, in my own practice, I provide careful service to my patients in a field such as Aesthetic Surgery, which requires knowledge, experience and care.

During medical education and specialization period, it is necessary to work not only in practical but also in scientific and theoretical fields. That’s why every doctor is also a scientist. During and after my time at the faculty, I had the opportunity to publish many publications in national and international journals. I participated in various congresses and meetings with oral and written statements. I worked as a chapter translator in books belonging to various branches of science. I feel obliged to follow meetings, congresses and seminars as a requirement of the continuous development and progress in medicine.

In 2010, I participated in the exam held by the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and was entitled to receive the “Certificate of Competence (Board Certificate)”.

I speak advanced English, intermediate French and basic Japanese. I am married and the father of two children.

I am interested in performing arts, Far Eastern war disciplines, music and literature.
